It’s the third puzzle from Cryptivore. But that’s not important right now.
The first two puzzles I’ve put out have featured not only brilliant wordplay, but also careless enumeration mistakes. So I’ve triple checked this week’s entry and there are no mistakes. But, just to be clear, there are two entries that could have been enumerated differently – i.e. that are correctly clued (X) but, according to reliable sources, could have alternatively been clued (Y,Z) or (Y-Z) or (Y,Y) or…you get the picture. Have I said too much?
Once again, this week has a theme hinted at by the title, the image above, and multiple answers – 6 this time. There’ll be more puzzles that ask this question, but I promise they all won’t.
Puzzle 3 actually is important right now, as far as this post goes. The answer, with explainers, will be posted next Monday, and Puzzle 4 will be up on August 24.
